Beans: The Coffee Shop Simulator review

The Coffee Shop Simulator

I’m liking how indie games are going back to their roots, and making 8bit games again. There is a certain charm to old school games.

Coffee beans is an indie game made by developers from Whitethorn Media. It’s a tycoon type game. In this game you manage a coffee shop. The story of the game starts out in devastation. Ruby leaves the city because she got fired from her job, and moves back in with her mum. She then starts a coffee shop.  Meanwhile her wealthy uncle just died from suspicious death, he was poisoned. You spend your time decorating the coffee shop, earning revenue, discovering new recipes and managing employees. I liked that the game has cheat codes, it definitely goes back to the retro roots. Coffee beans is full of surprises, memes ,and references. You’ll find yourself giggling and wondering what the next reference will be about.

Coffee beans is a fun casual game with a cup of comedy and big sparks of curiosity.  Click here for the game on steam

I review games on my own free will. This game in particular was  asked to demo it on twitch. I really liked the game so I reviewed it here on my blog .If you would like me to review your game, contact me by clicking here or  you can direct message me on twitter.
