Hey guys, I get a lot of people asking about my Nasa affiliation. I figured I would tell you the story. My friend gave me this at the PaxEast convention 2016. To time frame it for everyone. Scott Kelly just announced his retirement. He signed it a couple weeks after his last mission. I was at the end of my second year of college. It was when I was doing the video game development, and animation course. I was pretty busy at the time. A couple of days after the PaxEast convention. I would be flying back to Australia. I counted how much travelling I was doing and I changed time zones seven times in a three week period. It came at a pivotal time of my life as it was right when I needed it. Sometimes I would listen to all the stories of the astronauts, and everyone that helps make it possible. I thought of how amazing it was that we could all collaborate and make it happen. I related it back to my game design course, as we can all work together to achieve an delightful outcome. Sometimes as animators, we just want to enlighten your day and have you laugh. As space people we just want to make it to Mars. I’m with Walt Disney on this one “If you can dream it you can do it”. Don’t stop dreaming.
